Another productive week. I got the top part done (yay, no more air), and started work on the border around the Nintendo sign. I extended the border and will stitch it all the way around the sign (the pattern has it stopping half way down).

I mainly worked on yet more air, and started on the second Mario.

Another productive week. I got the pipe, flower, goomba, fire ball and fire Mario done, and started working on more and more air, and the bottom stones.

I got the castle done, and started work on the air surrounding the pipe and the flower.

The castle is almost finished, I filled in the black already to see how it would look. I like it!

A very productive week, I did a lot of work on the castle.

I didn’t get much done this week, just more air.

And a little bit more done. More air. I made a small mistake in the cloud, but if you don’t know it you won’t see.

The progress so far. I like the blue of the air… just not stitching it…

I started working on the Epic Mario Cross Stitch pattern posted on the Sprite Stitch weblog. I started on February 23rd, 2008, and will post weekly updates here of my progress.

The whole project is 200 x 150 stitches. I am stitching on white linen, over 1 (mistake on my part, over 2 was better, but when I released that I had done so much I didn’t want to start again). I am using one strand of DMC thread. I will post the DMC numbers later.
