On our recent trip to London (more about that later), I bought a Tudor Rose bookmark kit at the Tower of London. Like I said before, I love the middle ages, and this was the most beautiful medieval cross stitch kit I could find.
The kit itself was very complete. It had extensive instructions, more than enough thread, a needle, fabric (for stitching and the back) and a tassel. I stitched it in about 15 hours (I estimate) and finished it with the included red felt backing and the tassel.
This is my, Sara's personal blog where I will post stuff about gaming (Nintendo DS and Wii), cross stitching, amigurumi, things I like, things I've done, etc etc. I live in The Netherlands, but I will blog in English for my international friends on the internet. Have fun and leave a comment or two!

Isn’t that cool? I walked all around the Tower, but never got a chance to go inside and do the touristy stuff – the idiot I was married to at the time wasn’t interested in history at all. 2 years in the UK, wasted :( And who knew they had needlework kits??? LOL
